The Global Pastures Foundation (GPF) launched a comprehensive educational project targeting junior high schools. This initiative aimed to address critical issues affecting young students, including the stigma associated with their choice of schools and courses, drug addiction, teenage pregnancy, and environmental cleanliness.By providing education, resources, and support, GPF has empowered young students to make healthier choices and fostered a more supportive and clean school environment.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

Reducing Stigma: Educating students on the importance of making informed choices regarding their schools and courses without fear of judgment or stigma.

Preventing Drug Addiction: Raising awareness about the dangers of drug use and providing students with the tools and knowledge to resist peer pressure.

Addressing Teenage Pregnancy: Educating students on sexual health, responsible behavior, and the consequences of teenage pregnancy.

Promoting Environmental Cleanliness: Instilling the importance of environmental stewardship and cleanliness within school communities.

KEY ACTIVITIES

Stigma Reduction: Workshops addressing the impact of stigma on students' mental health and academic choices, emphasizing the importance of self-worth and individual paths.

Drug Awareness: Seminars featuring guest speakers, including healthcare professionals and individuals with lived experiences, to discuss the realities and consequences of drug addiction.

Sexual Health Education: Interactive sessions on sexual health, focusing on prevention, consent, and healthy relationships. These sessions were designed to be engaging and informative, using a mix of multimedia resources and discussions.

Environmental Cleanliness: Activities such as school clean-up days, recycling drives, and environmental clubs to promote cleanliness and sustainability.
